SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SAAB ONLY I am looking for a platinum gray “Classic” Saab 900 to use as a picture to complete my Los Angeles City College portfolio film project. Attached is a photo of the Saab that I hope to match (April & Saab.jpg) . This car is no longer in Southern California and is presently owned by a Northern Californian. For the single shot that I need in order to complete my portfolio film I will not need to show the entire car. It is merely necessary to show the driver’s headlamp moving toward the motion picture camera and stopping. The action will match the second attached photo (Bob & Saab.jpg). I would prefer that the Saab’s owner drive the car. If a drivable platinum gray Saab 900 is not available, one that can be pushed will do. It is merely necessary that I have a photo sequence of the Saab heading toward the camera and stopping. Because only the headlamp will be photographed, any Saab 900 body style (2-door, 4-door, convertible) will do. Only the front façade needs to match the existing picture car. I am offering $100 dollars for the trouble it takes to photography the Saab. This is an LACC student film (see attached PDF), which does not have a Hollywood budget. I would like to do this in April or May. Either the Saab can be delivered to Westchester (near LAX) to be photographed or a small film crew (3 or 4 people & a 16mm camera) will arrive at your Southern California location. No actors will be present. The photography will be entirely of the car and the film crew will not have a need to touch the car as long as it is drivable and doesn’t need to be pushed.
